Let’s make something.
Sponsorships, review copies, screenings and partnerships for film fans who still buy the disc.
I’m Mike. I run two YouTube channels about movies and physical media, a written review site, and the Radar, a release calendar that prices every upcoming 4K and Blu-ray every night. Before any of that I spent about ten years making video and running social media for brands, live events and sports, so I know what a partner needs back: a finished video on time, clear disclosure, and numbers you can check.
Who’s watching
Mike’s Movie Talk
Physical media collecting: hauls, sales, boutique labels, box sets and what’s worth buying. My fastest-growing channel.
Mike’s Movie Reviews
Spoiler-free reviews of new releases, most of them under a minute and up before opening weekend.
Views, hours and new subscribers are the last 30 days as of October 23, 2026, from YouTube Analytics. Subscriber totals update every day. 91% of Movie Talk’s views come from people already subscribed: they come back for every video.
Ways to work together
Sponsored segments
An integrated segment or a dedicated video on Mike’s Movie Talk, written and read by me, labeled as paid promotion.
Review copies and first looks
Unboxings, first looks and full reviews of new 4K and Blu-ray releases. A review copy buys an honest review, not a good one.
Screenings and press
I cover press screenings in Orlando most weeks, with a spoiler-free take up before opening weekend.
Video for your brand
Through my business, Socialman, I shoot, edit and run social for brands and events. Same camera, your channel.
What a sponsor can and can’t buy
- Every disc pays me the same, so nothing on my sites is ranked by what it earns. A sponsor sits beside a list, never inside it.
- Paid content is always labeled, on YouTube and on the site.
- I say what I think. You’re welcome to check facts before a video goes up, but not to approve the opinion.
